Admissions

Kingston Council has determined the admission arrangements for community schools, in-year admissions and the co-ordinated primary and secondary admissions schemes for 2025/2026. The latest arrangements for Kingston community schools 2025/26 is here. Starting Reception in September 2025

Children born between 1 September 2020 and 31 August 2021 are due to start reception class at primary school in September 2025.

Please note that all applications for entry into Reception 2025 need to be submitted by January 15th 2025. Kingston council recommend that you apply online if possible. However, if you are unable to do so please contact the admissions team by email at kingston.admissions@achievingforchildren.org.uk and they will offer you an alternative way to apply.

If you live in the borough and would like to apply for a school place, please use the eAdmissions online application. If you don’t live in the borough and wish to apply for a Kingston borough school you need to use your own Council’s method of applying.

Applying for a Nursery place

The closing date for next year’s Nursery applications is expected to be the end of February 2025 (awaiting confirmation from Council)

Due to the range of child care needs of parents within the nursery, and the increasing demands on working parents, we are pleased to offer the following 2 options in addition to the above universal offer of 15 free hours of nursery education.

Funded Full Time Places (30-hour entitlement) for 3–4-year-olds – 8.45am-2.45pm

An option of an additional 2.5 hours a week (Paid) for 3–4-year-olds until 3.15pm

Paid Full Time Places for (35 hours) 3–4-year-olds
